1. Coat the inside of the bag with 2 TBS flour. 

2. Place seasoned raw meats, poultry or fish in bag. 

3. Secure bag with the tie and cut off excess bag.

4. Place bag in 2" to 4" deep pan which is large enough to hold the entire bag and allow for some expansion. Puncture 4 or 6 holes with fork in top of bag. Because meats cook faster in an oven bag, we suggest using an oven thermometer. Simply insert it through the bag. 

5. Cook at your normal temperature in a PREHEATED oven with pan / bag away from oven walls and electric heating elements. 
DO NOT ALLOW TEMPERATURE TO EXCEED 400°F (203°C)
For extra browning or crispness slit top of bag for the last 20 to 30 minutes of roasting.

PRESERVING
Place food in bag, removing as much air as possible. Secure bag with tie. Store baked goods, leftovers, produce and herbs. 

STEAMING:
Simply place food in bag, removing as much air as possible. Secure bag with tie. Place bag in steamer and follow cooking directions with steamer. When cooked, remove bag and allow to stand for a minute before opening. 

BOILING OR HEATING:
Place food in bag, removing as much air as possible. Secure bag with tie. Immerse bag in boiling water. Reduce heat as needed. When cooked, remove bag and allow to stand for a minute before opening. 

FREEZING:
Place food in bag, removing as much air as possible. Secure bag with tie. When reconstituting, follow instructions according to cooking method - oven cooking, boiling or steaming. 

SLOW COOKING:
Open liner and place in slow cooker. Fit liner to sides and bottom. Skirt cooker exterior with remaining liner material. Put ingredients in slow cooker. Set temperature, follow recipe. To Serve: Carefully remove lid allowing steam to escape. Turn off cooker and allow to cool completely before removing liner. Toss liner in the trash.
